What are your delivery zones and lead times?
We offer local and national delivery. Most in-stock timber orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days. For bulk orders or specialized cutting services, delivery times may vary based on current mill capacity.
Is your timber sustainably sourced?
Yes, we are committed to environmental responsibility. The majority of our stock is FSC or PEFC certified, ensuring that our wood comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.
Do you offer bespoke timber cutting and machining?
Absolutely. We provide a full range of machining services, including cross-cutting, ripping, and planing to your exact specifications. Please contact our sales team with your dimensions for a custom quote.
Can I return unused timber?
Standard stock items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition. Please note that bespoke cut-to-size orders and specially treated timber are non-refundable.
How should I store my timber once it arrives?
To prevent warping or moisture damage, timber should be stored flat, off the ground, and in a dry, well-ventilated area. If stored outdoors, ensure it is covered with a breathable waterproof sheet.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. For trade professionals, we also offer the option to apply for a Nottage Timber credit account.
